Tangwami Declares Governorship Ambition, Engages APC Stakeholders

The Adamawa State Commissioner for Health, Felix Tangwami, has formally declared his intention to contest the governorship seat, pledging inclusive leadership and accelerated development across the state.
Tangwami made his ambition known after weeks of grassroots consultations across various communities, where he sought the support and input of residents ahead of the election.
As part of his political moves, the aspirant paid a strategic visit to the leadership of the All Progressives Congress (APC), where he was received by the State Chairman, Hamza Madagali. The meeting, described as cordial, highlighted his commitment to party unity and internal democracy.
Addressing Tangwami and other party stakeholders, Madagali assured all aspirants of a transparent and fair process, promising a level playing field as preparations for the governorship race intensify.
Speaking later at a press conference, Tangwami outlined his vision for Adamawa State, emphasizing continuity and innovation in governance. He expressed readiness to build on existing achievements while introducing policies aimed at improving the welfare of citizens.
The commissioner reiterated his commitment to enhancing healthcare delivery, boosting infrastructure in both rural and urban areas, empowering youths, and expanding opportunities in agriculture and education.
According to him, his ambition is driven by a desire to serve the people and consolidate ongoing efforts to improve living standards across the state.
