Police Launch Investigation After Man Found Dead in Adamawa

Authorities in Adamawa State have commenced an investigation following the discovery of a lifeless body in Girei Local Government Area.
The incident, which was reported on Monday, involved a 46-year-old man identified as Ahmed Mohammed, a resident of Anguwan Hona.
According to the Adamawa State Police Command, the deceased was found hanging from a tree at the foothills of Bagale Mountain under circumstances that remain unclear.
Police authorities said the body was evacuated to Cottage Hospital in Girei, where a medical doctor later confirmed him dead.
The case has been classified as a sudden and unnatural death, with investigators working to determine the circumstances surrounding the incident.
The Police Command has appealed to members of the public to provide useful information that could assist in the ongoing investigation.
