Eid El Kabir: Adamawa NUJ Charges Muslims on Selflessness, Unity

The Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), Adamawa State Council, has felicitated with Muslim faithful and residents of the state on the occasion of the 2026 Eid El Kabir celebration, urging citizens to uphold the virtues of peace, unity, and compassion.
In a statement signed by the Chairman of the Council, Comrade Abdullahi Ibrahim, and the Secretary, Comrade Kissinger Bukar, the union described Eid El Kabir as a sacred festival that symbolizes sacrifice, obedience, love, and devotion to Almighty Allah.
The council called on Muslims to emulate the exemplary virtues of Prophet Ibrahim (AS) by promoting tolerance, selflessness, and peaceful coexistence among citizens.
The NUJ also urged residents of Adamawa State to continue praying for lasting peace, security, and socio-economic development in the state and the country at large.
The union commended journalists in Adamawa State for their resilience, professionalism, and commitment to ethical journalism in promoting peace and national development.
While wishing Muslims a peaceful and memorable Eid celebration, the council encouraged citizens to celebrate responsibly and extend support to the less privileged in society.“Eid Mubarak,” the statement added.
